On June 27, 2025, the latest production starring Brad Pitt will hit Polish cinemas. The famous Hollywood actor played one of the main roles in the sports drama "F1: The Movie", which will take viewers on a journey to the world of the most prestigious international car races.

The 61-year-old star played the role of a legendary driver who decides to come out of retirement to lead a struggling Formula 1 team and become a mentor to a young master driver.

The character also gets a chance to be on top once again. The film is directed by "Top Gun: Maverick" director Joseph Kosinski, and Pitt's co-stars include Javier Bardem, Damson Idris, Tobias Menzies and Kerry Condon.

Brad Pitt: "I didn't hesitate for a moment"

During a press conference in Mexico, the Oscar winner revealed that he had long been thinking about making a similar project.

"When Joseph shared this audacious plan to put us in the realm of Formula One racing, to put us in real racing cars, I didn't hesitate for a second. It was a dream come true for me. I've been trying to make a racing movie for decades. For some reason, it just didn't work out. I'm so grateful for the opportunity because being part of the Formula One racing ecosystem was an incredible experience. I've never had anything like it before," the actor told People.

The production, which had a budget of $300 million, is one of the most expensive films in history. After its theatrical premiere, it will debut on the glass screen, adding to the catalog of the streaming platform Apple TV+.

The first reviews from critics who saw Kosinski's new work during press screenings can be seen as a harbinger of the show's commercial success. "

"It's an action-packed, thrilling portrayal of F1 racing, with a lot of adrenaline. The sound, music and cinematography are flawless. Damson Idris and Brad Pitt are excellent," wrote Jazz Tangcay of Variety on social media.

- Kosinski presses the gas and never stops. The races are epic, the editing, acting and music are top-notch. An absolute rollercoaster ride - echoed Erik Davis from the opinion-forming website "Rotten Tomatoes".
